I have privately tutored middle school students for about 3 years in the subjects of mathematics, science, and English. This has included test prep for statewide standardized exams. I have also have at least 2 years of experience teaching SAT and PSAT prep courses. I have also tutored a number of peers in science courses while I was in college and found that I really enjoy teaching. I have also been a Teaching assistant in multiple college biology courses and have been the instructor in laboratory courses. I have provided one-on-one instruction during my office hours, given lectures in front of small and large classrooms, and held review sessions to help students study for exams. I have also mentored many undergraduate students and help them complete and present their work on advanced scientific projects. I have 8+ years of experience working with and teaching undergraduate students. I have become familar with a diversity of teaching styles and have used multiple approaches in teaching my students.
