I have been a teaching assistant in many universities including Stony Brook and I am also an instructor at Stony Brook. I take great pleasure in teaching. The way I teach is very similar to the Socratic method of teaching. I will not make you memorize formulas you don't understand but rather ask questions to trigger your thinking and make you realize YOU can figure out the answer.
