Experience
I enjoy tutoring in many subjects, but my favorites subjects to teach are Math and Computer Science. My specialties include Algebra, Geometry, all levels of Calculus, and helping students prepare for the SAT exam. I am patient with my students and like to break down complicated subjects into smaller, more easily understandable pieces. I think this helps many students who tend to become overwhelmed when the subject as a whole just seems very complicated to them. I began tutoring in high school. It is then that I volunteered for a local tutoring club to help middle and elementary school students struggling with their classes. I also worked as a private tutor for anyone that needed my help when I was a junior in high school. I am currently attending Stony Brook University, where I am earning my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Once I earn my bachelor's, I then plan to enroll in graduate school and eventually work in Engineering R&D. I am proud to say that when I finished high school last year, I also earned my Eagle rank in Boy Scouts. In my free time, I love learning about the latest news in technology and computers, writing code, playing basketball, and reading science fiction books. I also love playing with hardware and circuits.
