EducationNew York University - BA, Anthropology
ExperienceI have worked with kids in many different settings. I was a babysitter for several years. I have also tutored in various classes in New York City public schools. I was a Teaching Assistant in a summer math program, and I helped run a federally funded summer language and cooking program. My favorite subjects to tutor are Social Studies, Foreign Language, and Science. I have tutored in many other areas, but these subjects are by far my favorite. I have observed and participated in teaching. Now as I tutor students, I work hard to make my lessons fun and incorporate activities that engage the student. This way the student has a memorable experience and hangs on to the information longer. I look forward to working with my future clients and giving them a tutoring experience that will stick with them in their future academic adventures.I have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology, focusing on Biological Anthropology. I minored in Education. My next educational adventure will be pursuing a graduate program in Bioarcheology, the study of skeletal remains using archeology. I am currently living in Setauket, NY. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, playing instruments, swing dancing, hiking, and learning trivia.
HobbiesHiking, drawing, reading, playing instruments, swing dancing, learning useless trivia.
