I enjoy tutoring students of all ages in many subjects, including English, algebra, physiology, and others, but my favorite courses to teach are biology and chemistry. I am a current graduate student working to earn my Ph.D. in Neuroscience. My career goal is to become a research scientist. Previously, I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science at SUNY Binghamton, but after earning my degree, I decided that I would enjoy a career in research science more than a career working with computers, so I returned to school and changed my educational path. I have experience tutoring at Nassau Community College in the Chemistry Help Center. I have also always been the go-to helper when my classmates have ever needed help in their science courses, especially when exams were coming up. Since I have accumulated so much knowledge of biology and chemistry during my college career, it makes me a very qualified tutor in these subjects. I can also show students how they will use these subjects later in their careers, which makes them more eager to learn. When not tutoring or studying, I like to read, play soccer, and watch a good soccer match in the stands or on television. I also enjoy playing strategy games, including board and video games.
