Experience
My experience as a tutor has been through working for private educational companies. I have taught elementary and high school students Math and Reading Comprehension while working for one company, and taught high school students Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, AP Calculus, and Statistics while working for another. I also enjoy tutoring Writing, Economics, Literature, and prep for the ACT and SAT. I feel that patience is required when working with students. I work to get to know my students' learning styles so that I might tailor our lessons to address their needs. I want to make learning fun and interesting, so that it does not become an obstacle to success. I am a graduate of Trinity College where I earned bachelor's degrees in both Economics and Mathematics. Besides the courses already mentioned, I am available to teach Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Reading, Essay Editing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Study Skills and Organization, and many more. When I'm not working, I like to read, play tennis, play basketball, or go for a swim.
