Experience
I have a wide array of teaching experience including student teaching, substitute teaching, after school programs, 1-on 1 and small group tutoring, and camps. I am currently a substitute teacher for all grade levels and subjects. I am constantly researching best educational practices to apply in my classroom and in tutoring sessions. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping others succeed and do well. I believe a love for learning is one of the best things one can have. I enjoy being able to help others obtain that love. During my undergrad, I took a large variety of educational courses which have greatly deepened my knowledge of education and taught me an abundance of tactics and methods to teach all kinds of students. Such course topics included: teaching students with special needs, math/science/technology education, teaching reading, developmentally appropriate practice, and more.
